It was Saturday, April 9th, 2016. I remember it like it was yesterday. My world would never be the same.
Growing up, I was never a big reader. I credit my lack of reading as a child to my perfect vision and my athletic prowess. Later in life, my friends joked that I was the first individual to finish law school without ever having completed a full book. This may or not be true.
Over the years, I’ve been fortunate enough to have both formal and informal mentors in my life. It’s an incredible way of acquiring insights into your own goals and business practices, building your professional network, and gaining all kinds of experience.
Since that day, I’ve been blessed with travel opportunities to Dubai, Nicaragua, Panama, Argentina, and Mexico. I was able to set up meetings with local entrepreneurs and CEOs in each of these amazing countries and receive invaluable advice.
In January of 2014, I was considering what my newly begun year would be like while 39,000 feet in the air. Instead of making a list of unrealistic habits I’d like to pick up, I decided to focus on one goal: happiness.
